Wildcats,
It’s the best time of the year! The 2025 football season has begun! Make sure you are ready everyday! Show up early, stay hydrated, and eat healthy! Let’s make this year great and dominate each moment.
Reminder: These practices are mandatory. This is our official football season and we are under CIF rules as far as practice hours, contact hours, minimum practices for a contest, permissible, equipment, acclimation period, and several others. Missing practice could result in restricted playing time or removal from the team. Communicate with your coaches as issues arise. Everyone must be cleared in order to practice. YOU CANNOT PRACTICE IF YOU ARE NOT CLEARED. Speak with Ms. Liana if you have issues.

Keys to success:
1. Hydration = Performance
Drink water all day, not just at practice.
Aim for clear urine—dark means you’re behind.
Add electrolytes
2. Fuel Like a Champion
Eat balanced meals with protein, carbs, and healthy fats.
Prioritize breakfast and post-practice meals.
Avoid junk food—what you put in is what you get out.
3. Sleep is a Superpower
Get 8+ hours of sleep per night.
Recovery, focus, energy, and muscle growth all depend on quality rest.
4. Take Care of Your Body
Stretch and roll out daily (before and after practice).
Use ice baths, compression, massage, or rest when sore.
Report injuries early—don’t hide them.
5. Mental Toughness
Push through fatigue, adversity, and setbacks.
Stay coachable—take feedback and apply it fast.
Don’t let one bad play turn into a bad day.
6. Lock into Meetings and Film
Pay attention and ask questions.
Mental reps matter just as much as physical ones.
Learn from others’ mistakes and wins.
7. Effort is Contagious
Sprint on and off the field.
Finish every drill and rep with pride.
Be the energy your teammates feed off.
8. Know Your Assignments
Study your playbook—don’t guess, know.
Line up correctly, execute confidently, and communicate with teammates.
9. Be a Great Teammate
Encourage others, hold them accountable, and celebrate together.
Leave your ego at the door—team > self.
10. Show Up Every Day
Physically and mentally.
Be consistent, dependable, and locked in—camp success leads to season success.
