We are getting close to spring football! Couple notes this week. We will not have touchdown Tuesday this week but the weight room will be open before school. Spring football begins May 12th! Make sure you are ready. Please read all the information below as we cover several things.

College Showcase: All showcase players, stop by the team room Tuesday morning between 8-8:20 to check in with Coach Hobbs to make sure you are good to go. Your form must be turned in by Tuesday!

The showcase is Wednesday, May 7th, at 4:00pm at LCC high school. You will get out 6th period and get a jersey to wear. We will leave 6th period before school gets out. Parent meeting (Incoming freshman, JV, and Varsity: Please save the date for our spring parent meeting. This meeting is for all levels in the program: Varsity, JV, and incoming freshman. We need one representative from each family to attend. Make this a priority! We will discuss all aspects of the program.

Students can access Tutor.com 24 hours a day, 361 days a year (NOT available on Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day) with an average wait time of approximately 60 second to be connected to a tutor
Essay drop off for corrections (including college and scholarships essays)
AP class tutoring (instructional videos)
Math tutoring through calculus
SAT and ACT test prep
The ability for students to pick a tutor that they have had success in the past (favorite tutor)
If a student goes to a tutoring session it is recorded for the student to review again
Career services for cover letters and resumes
You can use this with your sub plans and you can add in activities into the program
There is no time limit for students on the number of tutoring sessions
